Welcome to Ashton!

Since starting as headteacher in January 2022, I have had the privilege of getting to know our wonderful children and families. The children are the school’s biggest asset and I am incredibly proud to be headteacher in a school where the children are so polite, well-motivated and caring.

We are lucky enough to be surrounded by fields and apple trees so our children have lots of opportunity to connect with nature and the outdoors. Our ‘Proud to be Prestonian’ initiative means that all our classes are named after famous Prestonians. We want our children to love where they live! Our curriculum reflects this and all our staff, and governors work incredibly hard to ensure our children receive a wonderful education which nurtures them academically, socially and emotionally.
