At Ashton Primary School...
Through a creative curriculum that sparks wonder and builds lasting memories, we provide rich opportunities and experiences that strengthen knowledge and skills. We aim to inspire every Ashton child to be kind, resilient, and to achieve their personal best, preparing them to shape their future and contribute positively to the world around them.
Our ethos is one of respect, care and understanding of ourselves, each other, the diverse world around us and also our environment.
Through our nurturing, inclusive and aspirational values, we strive to encourage our children and give them the opportunity to be the very best they can be.
We encourage a love of learning by providing a high quality curriculum, which draws upon our local area and is based in the acquisition of skills, knowledge and vocabulary and supported by fun and memorable experiences which help to strengthen children's learning.
We aim to give our children the tools and self belief that they need to become resilient, independent and prepared for their futures.
Central to achieving this aim are the five values, developed in consultation with our children, families, staff and governors, that we seek to develop in our children:
